I think it’s crazy that Practice Management Software companies are still getting away with charging you thousands of dollars upfront to use their system. Can you imagine what would happen if you decided to charge your patients $5000 upfront for all of the treatments you plan to do with them over the next few years?

Why has it become so acceptable in the software industry? Software companies will tell you that they have spent years developing their software, and that is what you are paying for. Maybe I am mistaken, but haven’t you spent years studying and practicing your profession? Why is it any different? The answer is that it isn’t.
