Cliniko news — July 2012

Joel Friedlaender·

It’s like every month is our biggest at Cliniko. So much has happened lately I am not quite sure where to start… I guess the best place is our birthday! Cliniko turned 1 a few weeks ago. It seems like we have been around a lot longer, but it goes to show how much can happen in a year. It was just over 12 months ago that we were in private beta with a few brave clinics using our software and giving us very valuable feedback (particularly Michael and Adam, thanks guys!).

Fast forward 12 months and things have really moved along. We are now a team of 5 here at Cliniko and are privileged to have the amazing customers that we do. I think it’s a great time to share a few Cliniko numbers with you all:

  • More than 500,000 appointments have been created in Cliniko (31,000 created in the last week alone).
  • Over $18 million worth of invoices raised
  • 150,000+ treatment notes
  • Used in over 55 countries

We are really excited by the widespread adoption of Cliniko. It means we can grow our team and provide you with even better support and more time developing the features you request.

I also want to thank you all for the great response to our yearly subscription plans. We released these last month and the uptake has been great. We wanted to reward you for committing to Cliniko and we think the free month you get with the yearly plans is a great way to do it.

Before I jump into the recently released changes, I just want to make sure you know how to stay up to date with our changes. These emails provide a great summary, but we also release update notices immediately. If you are a facebook user, you can see all of our updates on our facebook page, make sure you click the ‘like’ button to see our updates in your facebook stream. If you use twitter, you can follow us at @cliniko. You can also subscribe to receive email notifications every time we do a release, this can be done by clicking the “subscribe” button at the bottom of this post.

Thanks,

Joel Friedlaender

We added some “skip ahead” buttons to the calendar to make it easier to skip ahead by weeks or months.

Yearly subscriptions available (6-June-2012)

There is now an option for yearly subscriptions. This gives you a free month for every year you subscribe. You can find these at Settings > Cliniko Subscription within your Cliniko account.
